By submitting this application and providing my electronic signature: I understand that my sponsorship is a one-time contribution of $120, which provides one year of membership in the Southern Nevada Black Educators Initiative (SNBEI) for a Black educator. This sponsorship does not automatically renew. If I am sponsoring a specific educator, I acknowledge that SNBEI will apply my sponsorship to the educator I have named. If I do not provide a specific educator, I authorize SNBEI to designate my sponsorship to a newly licensed educator or College of Education student who would benefit. I understand that SNBEI membership does not constitute legal representation or collective bargaining. SNBEI is unauthorized to represent members in investigatory meetings, disciplinary hearings, or file grievances against employers. SNBEI also does not have the legal authority to negotiate employment contracts regarding pay, benefits, hours, or leave. I understand that all sponsorships are final and non-refundable.
